General Rental Information
The renter and the driver must possess a valid driving licence for at least 1 year.
These documents/cards must be presented when collecting the vehicle:
1) A full driving licence (UK license holders must include the printed endorsement record or the code obtained from DVLA website: www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence) for all named
drivers, with details of all endorsements. Certain endorsements upon the licence may restrict the ability to hire a vehicle. For further information, please contact our Customer Service by
e-mail (email@example.com) or use the contact form online (www.flizzr.com). International driving permits must be accompanied by the national driving licence.
Driving license printed with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic etc.) must be complemented by an International driving licence.
For driving licenses from countries not part of the international driving license treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
2) A credit card. Debit Cards can only be accepted by customers residing in the United Kingdom. The card must be in the name of one of the drivers.
3) A passport or valid identity card is mandatory for all customers. If you are living in the United Kingdom, you need to provide us with a proof of address (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)
which is not older than 3 months at the time of pick-up.
Customers who are paying by debit card can rent up to and including the vehicle group FDAR and must bring an additional form of identification other than a passport, such as an identity
card or a recent (must be within the last 3 months) utility bill, bank statement, council tax or tenancy agreement, a second credit or debit card or a building society book.
At our discretion, we may pass your reservation to another business with whom we have a referral arrangement in place. If we do so, we act as agent for that other business. This means
that when we pass your reservation over to that other business:
(a) We will have no further obligation to you.
(b) Your agreement for the rental of the vehicle will be with the other company and not with us.
(c) Deposit will be obtained by the other business before the vehicle is hired. The deposit amount will not exceed the excess value.
(d) Minimum age requirements and insurance excess amounts may differ

Changing a booking
A booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability) in return for an alteration charge of GBP 40.00. Any payment already made towards the rental will
not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this alteration leads to a lesser rental cost.
A booking can be cancelled before the start of the rental. In the event of cancellation, the payment already made towards the rental will be paid back subject to a cancellation charge. The
cancellation charge shall be the amount of the rental charge (including any extras and charges) for a maximum of 4 rental days. Cancellations can be made online (www.flizzr.com) or in
writing and must be addressed to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time, the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.
In case a vehicle is returned prior to the agreed time the full rental price incl. all extras will be charged.
In Great Britain, the following rules apply for the minimum age and possession of a driver's licence:
25 years/1 years for all vehicles of groups up to P***
30 years/3 years for vehicles in groups PT**, L***, Driving licence for vehicle groups COMN and CNMN must include approval for category D1.
A Driver CPC certificate is required if COMN and CNMN are hired for commercial use. If you don't hold a British license but wish to rent a COMN or CNMN, please call to check for any
Non-EU citizens can drive vehicles with up to 9 passenger seats (FVMR).

Conditions of Payment
We accept all credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies - such as American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.
British Maestro and Visa Debit Cards are accepted (only UK Debit Cards are accepted). All other Debit Cards and prepaid cards are not accepted.
The following credit cards are accepted: Eurocard/Mastercard, AmericanExpress Card, Diners Card, JCB card, VISA and VISA Debit (only UK Debit cards are accepted). We do not
accept any prepaid cards or any other debit cards.
The renter must be the owner of the indicated card. The authorised driver details and method of payment will be confirmed at reservation stage and cannot be amended. The confirmed
card should be valid and available for presentation on collection of the vehicle. All extra costs that occur during the car rental will be charged to this credit card.
By booking a prepaid rate, the credit card will be charged before the start of rental, directly with the estimated total amount of rental. The amount that will be charged on your credit card
comprises the price of the rental as well as all additional extra fees.
The rental charge (plus any other charges agreed, e.g. exemptions from liability, airport charges etc.) plus Value Added Tax in the statutory amount applicable from time to time must, as
a matter of principle, be paid in full for the agreed rental period, i.e. if the vehicle is collected late or returned early there shall be no refund.
Before a vehicle is hired, we always obtain an approval of the amount of the rental cost plus GBP 250 deposit for debit cards or twice the rental amount on credit cards, with a minimum
deposit of GBP 200 and a maximum of GBP 5.000.
The deposit for high-value vehicles may differ. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.
General Protection Conditions
Third Party Insurance (TI)
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of GBP 5,000,000 for damaged vehicle and unlimited liability for personal injuries.
Insurance coverage is limited to Europe only.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
Loss Damage Waiver removes the driver's responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage or theft. LDW is mandatory in Great Britain unless the customer is a resident of the
US or Canada and has insurance cover through their own credit card.
If LDW is not accepted, the customer will be held liable for the full value of the car.
If LDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
GBP 1,000.00 for the groups M***, E***, C***, I***, SD**, SW**, SV**, CNMN, COMN.
GBP 1,500.00 for the groups ST**, SF**, F***, P***, L***.
Loss damage waiver (including Theft Protection) with minimum excess
If LDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Loss damage waiver (including Theft Protection) with minimum excess to reduce/eliminate the Non-Waiverable
Responsibility. This product does not cover any damage to the tires or glass of the vehicle . If Loss damage waiver (including Theft Protection) with minimum excess is accepted, the
customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
GBP 0.00 for the groups M***,E***,C***,I***,S***, CNMN, COMN.
GBP 0.00 for the groups F***, P***, L***.
Glass & Windscreen Coverage (TG)
The Glass & Windscreen Coverage waives your responsibility in the event of damages to the windscreen, side windows, rear-window or mirror glass.
If the Glass & Windshield coverage is not accepted, the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages to the windshield, side windows, rear-window or mirror glass. If the
Glass & Windscreen coverage is accepted, the customer is only responsible for the following amount: GBP 0.00.
Roadside Protection (BC)
When Roadside Protection is not chosen, the customer will be liable for any costs resulting of breakdown and recovery services and will be charged an additional administration fee of
100.00 GBP. Our Roadside Protection is your extended breakdown protection during your rental and protects you against high service and repair costs for the following incidents caused
1) Key locked in vehicle: In the event of the key being locked inside the vehicle, FLIZZR shall assume the costs for the vehicle to be opened by the vehicle manufacturer or one of its
partners, for the vehicle to be towed away and for a replacement vehicle.
2) Breaking caused by lack of fuel: In the event of a breakdown due to having run out of fuel, FLIZZR shall assume the costs for breakdown assistance and fuel required for the onward
3) Assistance with starting necessitated by flat battery: In the event of assistance with starting being needed, FLIZZR shall assume the costs for assistance by the vehicle manufacturer
or one of its partners.
4) Loss of key: In the event of a lost key, FLIZZR shall assume the costs for providing a spare key, the transport/shipping of the spare key, for the vehicle to be towed away and for a
5) Vehicle stuck: In the event that it is not possible to move the vehicle (e.g. due to wintery road conditions) FLIZZR shall assume the costs for the vehicle to be towed away and for a

7) Clutch damage
All services may only be ordered by a direct claim with FLIZZR 24-hour Roadside Assistance. They shall also determine the type and extent of service required to ensure the renter stays
mobile. If any damage to the rental vehicle occurs which is not covered by FLIZZR within the scope of the Roadside Protection, the renter is liable for such damage.
In case the requested national one-way rental is available, a fee applies.
International One-Way Rentals are not allowed.
Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions
Cross Border Rentals are not permitted from the UK. No vehicle must exit the borders of the United Kingdom.
Fees & Extras
Out Of Hours
Out of hours service is available upon request at selected stations.
A charge of max. GBP 150.00 applies.
In case the vehicle is returned more than 30 minutes after the agreed time the renter will be charged a service fee of GBP 30.00. If the delay leads to the start of a new 24 hour period,
an additional rental day including all booked extras will also be charged for each new period started.
If a vehicle is being returned more than 24 hours before the agreed time, a fee of GBP 30.00 will be charged (does not apply for prepaid reservations).
Driving Penalty Charges / Congestion Charge
The renter is liable for the payment of all charges, penalties and fines incurred in connection with the use of the vehicle. Payment of Congestion charge (for example in cities London,
Durham) or Toll is also in responsibility of the driver. Drivers will be liable to pay all penalties/fines related to late, or non-payment of traffic offence plus a £45.00 administration fee for
each penalty handled.
Service Fee/Premium Location Fee
A Premium location fee of 15% on the non-reduced total rental amount occurs for rentals at e.g. airport and train stations. This fee is already included in your rental price.
Registration Fee/Road Tax
A Road Tax of £1.68 per day, max. £33.60 per month occurs.

An Additional Driver Surcharge from GBP 13.50 per day and GBP 120.00 per month applies.
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to FLIZZR, otherwise our current refuelling charges will apply.
Alternatively, you may purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations and return the tank empty. No refunds will be given for unused

Terms of booking on this website
The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
