Our vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS codes. Reservations are confirmed for a
group. We do not guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type of vehicle. The vehicle shown on
any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an alternative, similar or
upgraded vehicle at our discretion.
Driver Age & Requirements
The minimum driver age required is 21
The maximum driver age is 80
Young drivers aged 21 up to and including 24 pay an additional € 8.00 per day.
Young drivers surcharge is not included in the rental price. It is paid in the local currency at the rental
desk. Young drivers are able to hire categories from mini (MCMR) to compact (CDMR) only
Additional drivers are allowed, at a cost of € 5.00 per day.
Only credit card payments are accepted.
Accepted : American Express, Eurocard/MasterCard and Visa
Unaccepted : Pre-paid credit cards, Laser, Maestro, debit, or Switch cards
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the
credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds
prepaid will be reimbursed.
Fuel policy is “full for full”.
Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
Missing fuel will be charged per litre (daily rate) and an additional charge of € 25,00 (Refuelling Fee).
Conditions of Optional Extras
Please note the price of optional extras is subject to change without notice. The optional extras are
subject to availability.
Excess Amount per damage
Our standard Excess Amount is €1.100,00/€1.600,00 per damage and is dependent on the car group.
This covers damages on wheels, tires, glass, front and back windows and the bottom of the vehicle.
The Excess for overhead damage (higher than 1.80 m) cannot be lowered and is €2.500,00 per
Collision Damage Waiver
There is a possibility to lower the standard Excess to €500,00 or €0,00 per damage.
For this we offer several Insurance Packages:
This package allows you to lower the Excess to €500,00 for €15,00 a day and it also offers an
optional Personal Accident Insurance.
This package allows you to lower the Excess to €500,00 for €18,00 a day, including Personal
This package allows you to lower the Excess to €0,00 for €35,00 a day and it also offers an
optional Personal Accident Insurance.
• Premium Package
This package allows you to lower the Excess to €0,00 for €38,00 a day, including Personal
Third Party Insurance
If you have already acquired an insurance through an external party, you as the hirer remain
responsible to Green Motion up to the standard Excess Amount per damage. The hirer must, should
they be charged for damage, submit the documents to the external insurer for a refund.
All Green Motion rental cars are insured for legal liability. This maximum coverage includes areas as
stated on the Green Card, and are in accordance with the local laws of each country.
Material Damage: 2.500.000,00
Personal Damage: 5.600.000,00
Personal Accident Insurance
Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I) is not included in the rental price. This can be added to the rental
period for an amount of €6,00 a day. In our Comfort and Premium insurance packages you receive a
50% discount on the daily rate.
The maximum insured amount is €1.000.000,00. This includes medical expenses, repatriation and
benefits in case of permanent disability and/or death.

Driving License, Identification and Payment (Authorization/deposit)
Due to certain insurance restrictions, not all driving licenses are accepted. A license or international
equivalent, issued by a competent authority and typed in Roman letters or the Latin alphabet, has to
be in the possession of the driver for at least two years prior to the rental period and should be valid
for the entire duration of the rental period.
Payments/authorizations are only possible with Green Motion Benelux accepted credit cards
(Mastercard/Eurocard, Visa and American Express (*) ).
Cash, Maestro and Pre-paid credit cards (i.e Viabuy) are non-valid means of payment.
The amount of the authorization is depended on the agreed (**) Excess plus an amount for the refueling
of the vehicle.

The hirer should provide all documents and credit card in his/her name. If a credit card is provided
which is not valid or does have enough credit on it, no vehicle will be given. All prepaid amounts will
in this case not be refunded.
For our premium fleet other terms are applied in regard to authorizations. When requested, the
information shall be provided.
Driver Age & Restrictions:
The minimum age for a driver is 21 years of age.

Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges:
It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When
fines or traffic violations occur and Green Motion is involved in administrative handling an
Administration Fee of € 25,00 (per case) will be charged from your credit card.

Out of Hours Charges:
An out of hours service is available at selected stations.
A minimum charge of € 60,00 per rental. Please contact your local Green Motion office for the details
In the event that a customer experiences flight delays the customer will not be charged an out of
hours charge within 1 hour of the intended arrival time – if a flight number is provided. If no flight
number is provided then the location may close without notice. No refunds will be given for rentals
ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date, even if
cancellation protection is taken.
For winter tyres please contact your Green Motion office directly, winter tyres are offered on
specific cars and only available on conformed reservation.
Winter tyres need to be reserved 7 days in advance, there is a minimum of 5 day rental, the cost is
€ 20,00 per day.
Prepaid and Pay On Arrival (P.O.A.):
PREPAID : Your prepaid amount will be settled at the counter on the moment of pick up.
P.O.A. : All charges will be charged on your credit card on the moment of pick up.
If a car is returned later than 29 minutes after initial returning time Green Motion is entitled to
charge an additional day
International Travel/ Geographic Driving Restrictions:

All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions supplemented with the terms and condition of
the Bovag car rental members association.
EU law applies to agreements made on the basis of the terms cited above.
Green Motion Benelux makes all efforts to ensure that all information provided is correct at the time
of booking. Furthermore, the customer by signing the rental agreement agrees to adhere to our
conditions at the time of collection of the vehicle and for the duration of the rental.
Terms of booking on this website
The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
